IEBS Community Content Policy

The IEBS Community comprises blogs created by our students and hosted for free in the following IEBS subdomains/domains (hereafter “The Community”):

This free service offered by IEBS to its members aims at the creation and publication of our students' projects and any other topic of interest to our academic community. We consider the Community to contribute to information availability, promoting a healthy opinion exchange and allowing people to connect. We believe censoring these contents would go against the spirit of a service based on freedom of speech.

However, in order to maintain these values, we must stop abuse endangering our capability to provide this service and freedom of speech it promotes. Consequently, there are certain limits in the type of content that can be hosted in the Community. The limits we have defined comply with legal requirements and aim at improving our service as a whole.

If you consider that a blog violates our policies, notify us through so we can analyse it and take appropriate measures.

If you consider that a user is infringing your copyright, notify us through so we can analyse it and take appropriate measures.

Users publishing any content through the Website, e.g., expressing opinions in a forum or blog, must limit their comments to their own original text and avoid copying or linking to work or content by third parties. IEBS will take the appropriate measures to enforce this policy, which may include editing or deleting content from third parties or blocking or deleting a User, e.g., in case of recurrence. If someone believes their work or content has been copied in a manner constituting a copyright infringement in any part of the Website or by a user published in a forum or blog of the Website, they must send the following information to IEBS through;

  • Name, address, phone number and email;
  • A description of the copyrighted material that is the object of the infringement claim;
  • A reasonably detailed description of the location of the supposed infringing material;
  • A statement that the sender believes in good faith that the use under discussion is not authorised by the copyright holder, their agents or the applicable law;
  • A physical or electronic signature of the person authorised to act on behalf of the copyright holder; and
  • A statement made under penalty of perjury that the information in the notification is accurate and the sender is the copyright holder or is authorised to act on their behalf.

Your Content in the IEBS Community

The services offered in the Community allow members to upload, send, store or receive content. If you engage in these actions, you remain the copyright owner of this content. In short, what was yours, remains yours.

When uploading, storing or receiving content from or sending it through our Services, you grant IEBS (and its collaborators) a worldwide license to use, host, store, reproduce, modify, communicate, publish, execute or publicly show and distribute this content, as well as create derived work (e.g., work resulting from a translation, adaptation or other changes performed to adapt your work to our Services). IEBS will use the rights granted by this license only with the purpose of providing, promoting and improving the Services and developing new services.
